Whether you're looking to attend a workshop to understand more about your child's behaviour or are a member of the community interested in the evidence behind our program, we have a workshop for you.

Please note: In light of increased social distancing measures due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), our workshops schedule will look a little different for the time being, beginning from early March.

  • For our families: All in-centre workshops have been moved to an online format until December 2020.
  • For the community: All scheduled community workshops have been indefinitely postponed.
  • For your organisation: We are looking into online delivery methods for any workshops your organisation may like to develop with us. Please be in touch and we look forward to working with you.

Family Workshops

Our AEIOU Parent Workshop Series is designed for parents and caregivers of children enrolled in the AEIOU program, or waitlisted. It provides families with the evidence behind our program, as well as practical tips and strategies to use at home, and in the community. The workshop topics address the most common issues or areas of interest our families raise.

Topics include:

  • Social skills
  • Mealtimes
  • Transitioning to school
  • Play
  • Toileting
  • Independence
  • Behaviour
  • Communication

Community Workshops

Families, allied health professionals and educators who work with children with autism can benefit from AEIOU Foundation's regular community workshops. These workshops include information on behaviour, communication and independence.
