Chain Reaction Women's Ride 2018
Chain Reaction Foundation Challenge Women's 300 was held Over 3 days from 12-14 October 2018. The all-female peloton cycled over 300+ km from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast to raise funds for AEIOU and Youth Advocacy Centre.

Prime Minister's Visit to AEIOU Bray Park
Friday 18 May 2018 was a very exciting day for AEIOU Foundation, with a special announcement made at our Bray Park centre by The Honourable Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull MP, Minister for Home Affairs, The Honourable Peter Dutton MP and Federal Member for Petrie Mr Luke Howarth MP.
During their meet and greet with our families, Mr Turnbull announced a $4.5m autism-specific facility which will be built on Brisbane's northside and is set to become not only a Centre of Excellence for families, but an outreach hub for research, training, and allied health and educational professionals.

AEIOU Brighton
AEIOU's centre at Brighton, Adelaide, opened in November 2017 and offers our autism-specific early intervention program for children aged 2-6 years, plus an early learning childcare service for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

Laser Beak Man 2017
Thursday 28 September 2017 - friends gathered to celebrate the birthday of valued AEIOU supporter, Stuart Giles, at the private showing of Laser Beak Man.
This wonderful production saw Tim Sharp's hero 'Laser Beak Man' come to life, through puppets, props, animated works of art, clever comedic lines and vibrant music by Ball Park Music.
Stuart's friends and family and AEIOU supporters gathered to wish Stuart a 'filthy, disgusting birthday', and in lieu of gifts, Stuart requested donations to AEIOU Foundation.

AEIOU Gala Night with the Stars 2017
Saturday 13 May 20 was a special night in the Boulevard Room at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. Guests enjoyed a beautiful three course meal, matched with divine wines from the Craggy Range Vineyards. Some walked away with fantastic prizes and auction items, with the night finishing on a high dancing to exceptional entertainment. We extend our greatest thanks to our valued sponsors, donors, supporters and each and every one of our guests. Thank you for helping us provide a lifetime of opportunities for children with autism.

10 Years of Milestones for our children with autism and their families – a time to shine and shine they did!
The room was filled with Australia’s best people – our sponsors, donors, our parents – past and present, and their friends who all rocked City Hall and looked so elegant in doing so.
It was a time for us to say a special thank you to all those who have, through their generous support, allowed us to reach our milestone 10th Anniversary.

Official Opening of AEIOU Gold Coast
AEIOU opened its Gold Coast centre on 29 May 2014 with The Hon. Tracy Davis MP, Mayor Tom Tate, the Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation Queensland Committee, and local friends, parents and supporters.

Paddle for Kids
Paddle for Kids is a community event that makes a splash! Combining a fun kayak relay race with a carnival atmosphere, this event took place on an annual basis from 2010-2013, raising vital funds for children in AEIOU centres and bringing our community together.

Lynn's Lunch
Lynn's Lunch is an event hosted by the Lynn Wright Memorial Fund, which was established in honour of AEIOU Founder Louise Morton's mother. Lynn was an exceptional supporter of AEIOU Foundation as it was established and today, funds are raised in her memory to provide financial support to children who may otherwise be unable to attend AEIOU Foundation's program.

Bridge to Brisbane
AEIOU’s Blue Crew has welcomed nearly 1,000 people to its team since 2009. In that time, those Blue Crew team members made a great contribution to our organization by raising well over $120,000 for the children in AEIOU’s centres. AEIOU is proud of each particpant and thanks all who donate their time either by walking, running, or helping out as a volunteer at the finish line!

Alex Perry Gala Events
As Ambassador to AEIOU, Alex Perry has supported the Foundation since its inception. Over many years, this included hosting a Gala event featuring an exlcusive parade with Alex's favourite pieces from each collection.

Autism Awareness Month
April marks Autism Awareness Month, and in particular, April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. Each year, AEIOU delivers a unique campaign to celebrate and raise funds and awarenss for children with autism.

Temple Grandin
In 2013, Temple Grandin visited Queensland and donated her time to deliver an exclusive presentation in Toowoomba for AEIOU's parents and the wider community. Temple also participated in an interview with Kylie Lang in front of a small studio audience and visited AEIOU's Nathan Centre. It was a delight to meet Temple and AEIOU is grateful for the time she gave to our team, and the families we support.

Community Experiences at our Centres
At AEIOU, it's very important to us to help our families access the community. We do this by hosting events and initiatives for the children in our centres, and also be hosting excursions outside of the centres.

Official Opening of AEIOU Bundaberg
The official opening of AEIOU's Bundaberg centre was a momentous occasion for local families, who campaigned hard to access full-time early intervention in the Wide Bay region.

Official Opening of AEIOU Sippy Downs 2011
AEIOU's Sippy Downs centre opened in 2011, supporting local families who have a child with an autism diagnosis, and also families with young children who are developing typically, with a child care and kindergarten program supporting children from infancy to six years.
