AEIOU’s Townsville centre caters for up to 24 children with autism on a full-time basis, working across three classrooms. The centre is home to recently refurbished playground, complete with new resources, including balance bikes and a vegetable garden, all of which prove to be a delight for the children. This is the only early intervention service of its kind in North Queensland.
The centre is managed by Emma Newham and Ruth Baines. Emma and Ruth have a thorough understanding of the early intervention program and are dedicated to supporting children with autism and their families in Townsville.
This centre is home to a beautiful community, which regularly hosts fundraisers and donation drives, also taking part in signature events such as Take a Hike in droves.
