Ruth Durrant
Director
Ruth Durrant is an accomplished communications professional with more than 20 years of experience across media, not-for-profit and energy industries. Her expertise in strategic communications, reputation and stakeholder management, brand positioning, crisis and emergency response is underpinned by her demonstrated interest in social impact and engagement.
She is currently responsible for leading the Corporate Affairs function for Energy Queensland, the largest wholly government owned energy business in Australia. Ruth began her career as a print journalist, working throughout regional Queensland before shifting into not-for-profits and then joining the energy sector.
Ruth is also a Director on the Board of Queensland Capacity Network. She joined the Board of AEIOU Foundation in 2024.
