Sing For Kids a chart topping success
Mon, 28 Nov 05
350 supporters sang, danced and laughed their way through AEIOU's enormously successful fundraising event, Sing For Kids, presented by Technology One, on Friday October 28.
Triple M's 'The Cage' Ian Skippen and Greg Martin did a sensational job compering the evening.
Guests dug deep to raise money placing bids to sing (or dare others to sing) on stage with live band 'The Elements'.
Nick Earls, Kevie Walters, Scott Draper, Liz Smylie, Wayne Grady, Kelly Higgins-Divine, Peter Cupples and Melissa Downes were among the local celebrities throwing their support behind the karaoke night.
Plans are already underway to establish Sing For Kids as an annual event with the evening raising a substantial amount towards 'Building a Brighter Future for Children with Autism'.
