Camira
AEIOU’s Camira centre enrols 33 children with autism, and employs 17 staff members. The centre features four classrooms, a parent room and two playgrounds. The centre operations are managed by Louise Nasternak, who has been with AEIOU Foundation for six years, and the therapy program is managed by Anna Brodie, who joined AEIOU Foundation two years ago.
Louise enjoys celebrating each child’s milestone achievements. “My favourite part about working with our children is seeing them gain vital skills, achieving their goals and knowing that we have played a part in something which is life-changing.”
Anna explains the relationships she and the team establishes with AEIOU families is personally rewarding. “We’re able to build such beautiful relationships with all our children, and we have a unique opportunity to make a difference in their lives. Being able to provide early intervention and see the children and their families gain so many valuable skills is so worthwhile!”
