FEBRUARY 2011

Bavarian Bier Cafe and AEIOU Foundation unlock the art of bier and the best of Bavaria

Bavarian Bier Cafe is teaming up with AEIOU Foundation to host an exquisite event that will raise funds for children with autism and the Queensland Disaster Relief Appeal on Tuesday, March 8 2011 at 6:30pm.

The new, sleek addition to the Brisbane restaurant landscape is an official AEIOU Foundation supporter, and promises to transport guests at the event to contemporary Bavaria, with a mouth-watering menu, sparkling wine and a masterclass Bier Professor that will unlock the art and secrets behind pure Bavarian bier.

Hosted by Triple M Radio Announcer Emily Jade O’Keefe, the evening will be sure to capture the imagination of guests with the perfect mix of style, grace and relaxed entertainment making it the perfect mid-week event.

AEIOU Foundation CEO Alan Smith said the event will be an elegant yet relaxed affair, providing an opportunity for guests to mingle and soak up the stunning Luchetti Krelle designed interior.

“We’re delighted to join with Bavarian Bier Cafe to host this event.  This is one of the first significant events to take place along the Brisbane River since the flood disaster in January, and life is yet to return to normal for many people in Brisbane and across Queensland,” Mr Smith said.

“For that reason we thought it was vital to support our community and donate some of the proceeds on the night to the Queensland Disaster Relief appeal.

All proceeds from tickets to the event will be donated to AEIOU Foundation to support children enrolled in its early intervention program, while funds raised from raffles on the night will be donated to the Queensland Disaster Relief Appeal.
