AEIOU Blue Crew top fundraising chart in Bridge to Brisbane

Some of the AEIOU Blue Crew who took part in the Bridge to Brisbane fun run.

The number of entrants in the 2009 Bridge to Brisbane Fun Run reached a record 45,265 high and so did the AEIOU Blue Crew who topped the team fundraising chart and raised an astounding $19,000.

The AEIOU Blue Crew boasted a squad of 65 members who dragged themselves from bed to battle the unseasonably warm weather for the annual fun run to raise funds and awareness for children with autism on 30 August.

The team was made up of a variety of supporters including mums and dads, brothers and sisters, grandparents, aunties & uncles, godparents, friends, staff members, work mates and fitness fanatics who joined together to raise funds for our worthy cause. It was an amazing effort by all – well done!
