Welcome new AEIOU Board Members

We are delighted to welcome both Caz Osbourne and Scott Reading to the AEIOU board.  Both Caz & Scott bring many years of senior management experience to the board. For more information please click here.

Scott Reading

Scott has combined retail, media, direct selling and small business into a career which has encompassed over 21 years in senior management with a breadth and depth in leadership roles.
He has extnesive experience and practical corporate skills with the ability to communicate with influence across all levels and cultures.
Scott has a keen interest in state and federal politics in particular lobbying to develop key government relationships to support social needs.
Scott holds a Master of Business (logistics Management) from RMIT University and is currently finalising a Master of Commerce in General Management.

Caz Osborne

Caz is currently Project Mananger with Brisbane City Council managing the year long calendar of events and activities for Brisbane turning 150 years old celebrations. This exciting position sees her liaising will all levels of local government including the Lord Mayor and leading business leaders in Brisbane.

Previously Caz was General Manager at Brisbane Powerhouse, Cnetr for the Arts. She was responsible for the implementation of the Board and Executive Teams' strategic plan, the management of the Brisbane Powerhouse and its staff. Caz consistently operated on a cost effective bases withih the framework of policies, objectives and budgets established by Brisbane City Council and other stakeholders.

Prior to this role her distinguished career in human resources practice involved senior management positions providing consultancy services to various industries on all aspects of staff development, health and well-being, training and industrial relations.

Caz’s previous roles have seen her hold management positions in accounting, sales and marketing. Caz has a Bachelor of Business and is currently pursuing studies in Graduate Certificate in Business (Professional Management) at the Australian Institute of Management.

Caz is a well-known and influential member of the Australian Institute of Management. She has worked energetically for the past twelve years, both behind the scenes, and in various official capacities such as the Membership Committee and, in 2002 and 2003, as a Judge on the Young Manager Panel of the Management Excellence Awards.

In addition to her active role in her profession, Caz is also deeply involved in the community sector. She is an Executive Board Member at the Kyabra Community Association, a large community-based organisation on Brisbane's Southside, which is committed to strengthening individual, family and community life.

Caz is also a Committee Member of SIDS & Kids a high-profile and well-respected not-for-profit organisation that through health promotion program SIDS and Kid Safe Sleeping has been instrumental in reducing the infant mortality rate.

Caz also offers support to several community and arts organisations in the areas of business development and philanthropic projects. She has a keen interest in board governance.
