Queensland Reds makes AEIOU their number one ticket holder

Thu, 9 Feb 06

The Queensland Reds have appointed AEIOU as their number one ticket holder for the 2006 season.

Wallaby Elton Flatley presented the tickets as part of the team's ongoing commitment to helping children with autism.

"Usually it goes to a high profile person, so it"s nice to give it to a great cause like AEIOU - they do some fantastic work," he said.

AEIOU will use the family season membership for families of children attending the centre as well as the centre?s volunteers.

As part of their partnership with the Reds, AEIOU will be holding a fundraising sausage sizzle in Roma Street Parklands, prior to the opening match of the season against the New South Wales Waratahs on February 11.

The sausage sizzle will be part of Coca-Cola?s March to Match promotion, with about 5000 Reds supporters expected to march from Roma Street to Suncorp Stadium, led by Chris 'Buddha? Handy.

The afternoon will feature a live band, Triple M Street Freqs, face painting, prize, Coca-Cola t shirt and drink giveaways and Coke Zero flash squad before the march to Suncorp Stadium at 5.30pm.
