Cowboys & Indians raise $25 000

AEIOU struck gold on Friday night March 2nd when 360 cowboys, cowgirls & Indians had a showdown at Lourdes Hill College and raised $25 000 at their annual trivia night.

'Sheriff John Lazarou' and his deputy ‘Cowboy Peter Kelly" held court all night with great questions, games, pizza, drinks, ice-cream and a lot of good old fashioned fun.

After a 4 hour shoot out the ‘tombstone gang’ were the last standing and took home the loot.

There were plenty of Cowboys, cowgirls, hillbillies, Indian Chiefs, squaw’s, saloon girls and even a horse in the room but the best fancy dress team were ‘ten little Indian girls’.  

A big thank you must go to the cowboys, cowgirls, Indians and every hillbilly who attended as well as the prize sponsors on the night…especially MPH Rural who generously donated 5 Water tanks with all proceeds going to AEIOU.
