ALEX PERRY - 'Hawaiian Princess

Mon, 16 Jul 07

Fashionista's and AEIOU supporters turned out in force on Friday September 28th to spend the afternoon with Australia's Leading Courture Designer 'Alex Perry'.

Joining Alex were his celebrity friends Joh Bailey and Sophie Falkiner....and his very special guest, his beautiful wife Mary Perry.

360 guests wined and dined at Gianni's Portisde where Channel Nine's Melissa Downes hosted the event with Alex.

After lunch the guests were treated to the exclusive 'Hawaiian Princess' parade featuring over 25 Alex Perry Gowns and the gorgeuos fine jewellery from Anthonys Fine Jewellery in the Wintergarden.

There were plenty of prizes on the day for guests to win including the stunning 1 carat white gold diamond ring generously donated by Anthonys Fine Jewellery.

Alex has been a stong supporter of AEIOU for three years and happily shared some insight into the 'Perry' world.

Melissa Downes did ask the question on everyone's lips..."why do you wear your sunglasses on top of your head" to which a very simple reply came...basically so i don't lose them. Alex had lost several expensive pairs over the years so this way he knows they are.

Thank you to all the sponsors of the event especially Anthonys Fine Jewellery, Virgin Blue, The Sofitel Brisbane, aura Magazine, Viviennes and Lindsay Bennett Marketing.
