Become a Volunteer

Volunteers are crucial to helping AEIOU achieve its goals. Many people selflessly give their time to help make a real and positive difference in the lives of children with autism and their families. Volunteers have also helped raise much needed funds to assist with research and early education.

Many volunteers have been personally touched by knowing someone with autism. However, many others just enjoy having fun within the AEIOU 'family' while at the same time knowing that their contribution will have a significant impact.

What you can do?

There are many ways volunteers can assist at AEIOU. It simply depends on their skills and the time they have available. Some of the ways include, but are not limited to:

  • fundraising;
  • preparing learning materials;
  • administration duties; and
  • giving your professional skills free of charge.

How to apply

To become a volunteer, please contact Debbie Burtenshaw on 1300 273 435 or email info@aeiou.org.au
