NDIS for SA families
On 11 December 2015, the Bilateral Agreement for the roll out of the NDIS in South Australia was signed. Once roll out is complete, it is estimated over 32,000 South Australians will transition to the NDIS.
The NDIS will progressively roll out in South Australia from 1 July 2016 and by July 2018, all eligible participants will be covered.

The initial trial sites for the NDIS included South Australia, with AEIOU’s Huntfield Heights centre operating under the scheme since it opened in late 2014.
AEIOU Foundation Workshop: Preparing for the NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has been described as a generational change to the way Australia supports people with a disability. At AEIOU Foundation, we recognise the impact this will have on you and your family.
AEIOU Foundation has been working hard to assist parents navigating the NDIS. With many Adelaide families preparing for reviews, program coordinator Diane Keating will provide information to help you in your discussions with your planner. As well as helping with key messaging, she will be available to answer questions.
