The Lynn Wright Memorial Fund

The Lynn Wright Memorial Fund (LWMF) was established in 2005 to honour Lynn Wright. Lynn was the mother of Louise Morton, co-founder of AEIOU and grandmother of Andrew who has autism.
The Lynn Wright Memorial Fund is dedicated to providing financial support for those who would otherwise be unable to attend AEIOU. Annual fundraising lunches for the fund are held in May which coincides with Autism week. All proceeds raised are given directly to the LWMF.
The LWMF has an independent board that reviews all applications and advises AEIOU of the families who will be receiving support from the LWMF. The decision of the LWMF board is final. All parents participating in the AEIOU program are eligible to apply.
Criteria for applications should include:
- demonstrated financial need evidenced by appropriate documentation;
- commitment to AEIOU's mission and values;
- commitment to participate where possible in school activities and as a volunteer; and
- willingness to participate in publicity for the Lynn Wright Memorial Fund
All applications need to be addressed to the LWMF Board using the approved form and sent to:
