How we can help
AEIOU Foundation is passionate about supporting families and creating bright futures for young children with autism.
We do this in many ways. AEIOU specialises in delivering early intervention for children aged from 2 – 6 years, with individualised plans to develop essential life skills, establishing independence, confidence and inclusion.
Children receive high quality, consistent early intervention, delivered by a transdisciplinary team. This team, comprised of multiple professionals shares responsibility by planning, developing and implementing supports for children and families.
It’s our priority to support your whole family unit, so parents and carers at AEIOU receive regular support and training opportunities, which means you can tools, and develop skills to achieve therapy goals in the home.
At AEIOU, within the first 12 months of being enrolled, 89% of children are successfully toilet trained, or are undertaking toilet training. After 12 months in the two-year program, 66% of children are reported by their parents to talk in phrases, compared with 36% at intake. We also focus on reducing challenging behaviours, to foster greater inclusion within the community.
