AEIOU brought the sizzle to the Queensland Reds'
March to the Match on February 11, 2006, holding a
fundraising sausage sizzle for thousands in the Roma Street Parklands.
The Queensland Reds, with Coca-Cola, staged a major celebration in the Parklands prior to the opening match of the season.
The afternoon featured live bands and entertainment with Chris 'Buddha' Handy whipping 3,500 supporters into a frenzy before leading them in a march from Roma Street to Suncorp Stadium.
The volunteers, families and board members of AEIOU, put in an excellent effort frying and flipping for hours on the day a special thanks to Johnston Rorke volunteers.
The fundraising event wouldnt have been possible
without the generous support and sponsorship
from the Milton IGA, Gold Coast Bakery, Paul Purcell
from Jack Purcell Meats and Jane Standfast and
Pam Tomkins from Coca-Cola.
The Queensland Reds have appointed AEIOU as their official charity, and their number one ticket holder for the 2006.
